‘When Evening Falls’ first appeared in FTL #7 – Winter 1990

‘When Evening Falls’ (John Kenny). Right in the middle of everything we find a genuinely touching love story. A couple of clones, Lisa and Damon, lacking either normal human experience or the capacity to appreciate it, eventually find themselves through a blend of artistic expression and romantic love. The end is menacing; deprive people of normal expression, it seems to say, and the day of reckoning will come.
