I’m delighted to be able to announce that I have been shortlisted for the 2026 New Irish Writing Best Poetry Award, in association with the Irish Independent, at this year’s An Post Irish Book Awards. It’s a huge honour to be shortlisted with three other wonderful poets. Many thanks to Ciaran Carty for choosing two of my poems for the June edition of the New Irish Writing page, and for selecting them to go forward to the An Post Irish Book Awards. The awards ceremony will take place on December 1st in the Convention Centre in Dublin.
